- Some of the words have been uncensored, though I expect nobody to direct them at anybody.

- Attacks against religion, race, beliefs or anything similar are extremely discouraged and will result in a ban.

- Constructive debates are okay, but if anything goes into argument, and the rule above is broken, I won't hesitate to ban.

- Please try to keep a civil mind about everything. I don't mind religion talk, but no attacks on it. I know there are many people out there who are extremely dedicated to their religion, but please don't over-do it, it can upset some people who don't have the same beliefs.

- Have fun, this is really what the site is for. :3

- Please, I beg of you, no Mary/Gary Sues. They're annoying and hard to deal with. Mary/Gary Sues consist of things like 'She was naturally beautiful, which made every stallion who saw her instantly fall in love.' If you want your mare to be pretty, that's fine, but you can't make every stallion like her. Same goes for stallions.

- No godmoding. This consists of having a perfect character in other ways, meaning they don't get hurt, resist disease, and in some cases never die. All horses on Dalestor are very mortal, and mortality comes with a price. Sorry.

- And under the same breath, no powerplaying. This means your character hits wherever they want, when they want, and you determine the damage. This doesn't happen. So no, "Bob hit Sue hard in the arm, instantly feeling her arm break, and hearing her cry out in pain." No, but instead perhaps, "Bob aimed at Sue's arm, giving enough force to the blow that if it hit, it would break her arm."

- However, I will allow bunnyhopping. Which, if you have permission from a player to powerplay, then I won't call you on it. (This sometimes happens in plots, etc.)

- Characters aren't always nice to other characters, but please don't take this as a personal insult.

- Fights take place at the battleground, which is located in "r o a m".

- Fights are either stallionxstallion or marexmare. I have seen some instances where there are team battles, but please make sure that if there are teams, that the genders are even on each team.

- Stallions, sorry girls, are stronger than mares. They're masculine and are built differently. So if a mare and stallion are fighting, a mare has about half the chance of winning as a stallion would. This, however, does not prohibit mares from challenging stallions.

- Once again, any powerplaying or godmoding will result in the opponents instant win (unless bunnyhopping, in which both players must agree to).

- If the defendant does not reply to the post placed in their land within five days (and has not posted in m . i . a) then the land goes to the offensive by default.

b r e e d i n g

- No graphic breeding. I can't stress this enough, sites get deleted over it.

- Breeding is to happen in Summer and Winter, foals are born in Spring and Autumn.

- To breed, go to the breeding grounds and post "Bob and Sue have joined to make a new life" or something just as corny :3.

- When the season changes, post the Sire (Daddy) and Dam (Mommy) stats in the foaling board.

- Foaling happens in Spring and Autumn.

- For foaling (as stated above), post the Sire and Dam's stats in the foaling board, and staff will determine the stats of the foal.

- Sometimes mares successfully have foals, sometimes they don't. Sometimes foals are stillborn, and sometimes they're sick. Unfortunately Dalestor is not a perfect world, so please don't complain if your mare has a miscarriage, or the foal dies from an illness, and try again next season.

p a s s i n g

- Horses die of many causes, be it illness, old age, or infected wounds.

- To have your horse die, you can post in "p a s s i n g" either in or out of character, saying that your character has moved on.

- There are ghosts in the passing grounds, though they are pretty much prohibited anywhere else.

- The passing grounds can also be used for mourning, not always death, or perhaps for those seeking spiritual guidance.

- Any rules posted here are now in affect. Should you find a subject that has no rule, we will not make one to counter it. You shall get whatever it is you wanted, or we shall settle something out. (Especially when it comes to claiming or fighting over lands)
